Shades of silent mind....

There were no loud noises, but there were silent whispers
Silent whispers that caused reverberations in minds
There were no myriad of colors, but there were
shades of black and white that created exquisite masterpieces.
There were  no big tides, but there were small ripples
that caused  huge waves in heart.
There were no volcanoes, but there were small fumes
that lit the corners of the heart.
Some people are like that ,they never make loud noises, they are never reflected, they never create ripples but still occupies  the deepest parts of our mind. This post is dedicated to my friend Arun who is such a marvelous piece.Even in his silence i use to feel the touch and caress of a loving friend who  have a heart to appreciate the little things. Arun, may all your wishes and dreams come true!Happy birthdaty :)

The choices we make........

In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.
Eleanor Roosevelt

Today during a send off function arranged for one of our outgoing colleague our chairman was talking to us, i was deeply touched by his words and wished to write more about the thought he had shared  with us. He was talking about the choices we make in our life, today we seem to be  living in an environment were we constantly blame others for the lack of happiness in our lives due to wrong choices that they choose for us. Be it a career, choosing a partner, or anything small in our life we tend to make choices for the sake of others, trying to make them happy. But when he asked this question , 'will you be happy by that wrong choice', 'would you not regret for this wrong choice made' we all were stuck for a moment. I just feel there is a real good point in what he said, whatever choices that we make in our lives, we are solely responsible for it, we are the ones who are going to enjoy the fruits of that choice so its our responsibility to make the choices which is good for 'US' not for our parents or for  our company or for our friends, because ultimately at the end of the day you have to stand alone facing the reality of life , you  are all alone in the race of your life, the one who have to complete your race, nobody will ever come and finish it for you. This simple realization will help you make better choices in your life, choices that will never make you regret later on in  your life. With one of my favorite quotes  i am putting a full stop to this post.

Love is magical............

Love is a magical feeling where one get lost into a different world, a world where everything seems to be bright and beautiful. .

“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.”

These lines are about life......

Just Go through these lines,it talks about life, the sudden realization which will strike you..................

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER

I'd dare to make more mistakes next time.
I'd relax, I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have been this trip.
I would take fewer things seriously.
    I would take more chances.

I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers.
I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would perhaps have more actual troubles,
but I'd have fewer imaginary ones.

You see, I'm one of those people who live
sensibly and sanely hour after hour,
    day after day.

Oh, I've had my moments,
And if I had it to do over again,
    I'd have more of them.
In fact, I'd try to have nothing else.
    Just moments, one after another,
instead of living so many years ahead of each day.

I've been one of those people who never goes anywhere
without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat
    and a parachute.
If I had to do it again, I would travel lighter than I have.

If I had my life to live over,
I would start barefoot earlier in the spring
and stay that way later in the fall.
I would go to more dances.
  I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
  I would pick more daisies.

   Nadine Stair,
   85 years old.
